Waqas Abdul Majeed is a CG Generalist who likes to tell stories in the form of games and animations. He enrolled in 'Bachelors of Animation' in 2008 and completed his graduation in 2010. Being an open source technology fan, he started to define his workflow from the commercial tools he widely used to work on his personal or commercial projects on open source and discovered Blender 3D. Ever since, he mostly uses open source technology at work, for freelance and personal projects. He is directing 'Luke's Escape - An Animated Short' and has also modeled some environments and props in the film; Luke's Escape was presented at the Blender Conference in Amsterdam in 2013. He also has a lot of interest in video games; in 2013, he started to explore Unity3D, a well- known game engine, and recently he has been focusing more on the technical side. He works with the artists and the programmers, mostly solving problems and finding solutions, but at the same time, he does very much like modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
